Lack of a Cohesive Downtown "Vibe"
We've got great businesses, service providers and restaurants downtown, but it truly lacks a cohesive downtown vibe. We would like to encourage economic development, beautification and cooperation downtown.
Pride in Residences/Businesses
Promote the maintenance and preservation of all properties in the Downtown Cary area.
Beautify the neighborhood by assisting with neighborhood projects.
Ensure residential code compliance.
Public Safety and Lighting
Improve on-street lighting.
Encourage opportunities for neighbors to be involved in creating safe Downtown Cary neighborhoods.
Community Building and Neighborhood Involvement
Encourage more community wide events and gatherings.
Increase level of awareness and involvement within Downtown Cary neighborhoods.
Traffic
Promote safe and efficient pedestrian and automobile transportation throughout the neighborhood.
Evaluate the existing sidewalk conditions and make recommendations for improvement.
